No experience or partner required. In just 6-week lessons you are going to learn basic Bachata steps and will be able to use your skills right away on the dance floor, whether it is on vacation, on a cruise or a local outing!
Every week we will teach you a new Bachata fundamental and incorporate it into a simple turn pattern. At the end of this session, you will be able to move well to the music, interact with any partner, employ basics of leading and following on the dance floor, and much more. Our classes are taught in a fun and informal manner, and we assure you that you will be impressed with your progress!
The Intermediate class offers students with Bachata experience a challenging 6-week session to take their dancing to the next level. Building on the Beginner class, you will learn more complex steps, turns and tricks. We will teach you more advanced body isolations and marking, which will be sure to impress anyone on the dance floor!
In this course we will also introduce you to the concept of styling to enhance the appearance of your movements and add complexity to your dancing. Finally, you will be ready to learn some of the signature Bachata Club moves, including the XBOX, the Wind Mill, the Pretzel and many more!
Welcome to the Advanced Bachata class. We've taught you all the fundamentals of Bachata and now it's time to break all the rules. In this course, we will take your Bachata dancing to the next level. We will be combining all the moves that you already know into a complex turn pattern! The Advanced course is an excellent transition for those students who are interested in performing and learning intricate choreography.
Finally, the Advanced course will feature a unit on Dominican Bachata, where we will introduce you to some of the intricate footwork and syncopated steps of this wonderful and energetic style! Be prepared for a truly rewarding experience.
